Kutak Rock Advises FNBO in Proposed Acquisition of InBank
News | September 4, 2026Kutak Rock represented First National of Nebraska and its subsidiary FNBO (First National Bank of Omaha) in connection with a definitive agreement to acquire Denver-based InBankshares, Corp and its wholly owned subsidiary InBank. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2026, after the receipt of regulatory approval.
InBank is a $1.4 billion-asset independent community bank offering commercial, business and personal banking services. The acquisition will significantly expand FNBO’s presence in Colorado, adding nine branches along the Front Range and establishing new locations in Denver, Colorado Springs and southern Colorado. Combined with FNBO’s 21 existing branches in northern Colorado, the transaction will increase its statewide network to 30 branches. FNBO will also add four InBank branches in northern New Mexico.
