Tim focuses his practice on federal income tax matters as they relate to business, financing, and merger and acquisition transactions. He is experienced with federal income tax issues arising from transactions for both public and private corporations, partnerships, and private equity and credit funds. In addition to providing tax support to the national M&A and Institutional Investment groups, Tim also supports the Structured Finance and Securitization group in connection with tax matters relating to structured finance, securitization, and other capital market financing transactions.
Prior to joining Kutak Rock, Tim worked as a Senior Associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions Tax group at a Big 4 public accounting firm in the Washington, D.C. area where he advised private equity clients on a variety of tax due diligence and tax structuring items in connection with acquisitions and dispositions of businesses in a wide range of industries including the infrastructure and renewable energy industries.
