Sarah focuses her practice on complex commercial and intellectual property litigation and counseling, in connection with a wide range of industries, including software services, consumer products, and financial services. She has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in an extensive variety of matters, including breach of contract, fraud, business torts, consumer protection, trade secret and unfair competition, real estate, and copyright and trademark infringement.
Known for her energy, relentlessness, creativity, and ability to persuade and connect with others, Sarah has successfully represented clients in mediation, arbitration, and state and federal district courts. She routinely serves as lead counsel and has significant experience in court and briefing dispositive motions related to complex legal issues. Sarah’s broad range of litigation experience includes jury trials, bench trials, summary judgment proceedings, and all aspects of fact, expert, and e-discovery. Sarah has effectively and successfully litigated complex and high-profile commercial disputes.
Before joining Kutak Rock, Sarah served as a judicial law clerk for Chief Judge Thomas O. Rice of the Eastern District of Washington where she worked on complex matters for the Eastern District and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
