Jason focuses his practice on providing full-service representation to employee benefit plans, plan sponsors and fiduciaries, which includes issues pertaining to governance, compliance, amendment/policy review and drafting and litigation. He is one of the few attorneys in the nation who specializes in representing registered apprenticeship plans, including standards and policy review, program compliance with applicable Department of Labor and state apprenticeship laws, advising on complex prohibited transactions issues unique to apprenticeship plans, scholarship loans, employment law issues and more.

He also represents and advises plans, plan sponsors and fiduciaries for retirement plans and health and welfare plans with an emphasis on Taft-Hartley (multiemployer) plans, helping them navigate through complex issues surrounding, ERISA, HIPAA, SECURE 2.0, as well as service provider evaluations, negotiation and drafting of relevant agreements, drafting and issuing requests for proposal for services and more. In addition, Jason regularly provides training on issues pertaining to ERISA, fiduciary duty, cyber security and other relevant topics in the context of employee benefit plans to fiduciaries and other interested parties.
