Ashley primarily acts as bond counsel and disclosure counsel to governmental issuers. She has represented a variety of clients, from large municipal entities to school and special districts. Ashley works to meet the financing needs of her clients through various transaction structures, including general obligation bonds, revenue bonds, notes, lease purchase financings, certificates of participation, and refundings. A significant portion of her practice is dedicated to assisting both borrowers and lenders with specialty loan structures, including USDA Direct and Guaranteed Loans. She regularly advises issuers on continuing disclosure obligations and related filing requirements. To date, Ashley has assisted with the closing of billions of dollars in public finance transactions.
Ashley is the Chair of the Denver Recruitment Committee and, in such capacity, oversees the Summer Associate Program for the Denver Office. She is also the Co-Chair of the firm’s Women’s Initiative, as well as a long-standing member of the firm’s National Inclusiveness and Diversity Committee. She is actively engaged in the firm’s efforts to create and maintain an environment that fosters a sense of belonging for all.
