Todd Guerrero Talks Energy Law at HNBA 2023 Corporate Counsel Conference

Todd Guerrero, a partner in Kutak Rock’s Minneapolis office, recently served as one of four panelists discussing energy law, including its part in worldwide geo-politics, at the Hispanic National Bar Association’s (HNBA) Corporate Counsel Conference (CCC23) March 9-11 in Phoenix.

Titled “Energy Law: For Watt It’s Worth,” the session was moderated by Vanessa Suarez of Maynard Copper & Gale of Austin, Texas. Other panelists included Eneida Boniche Silcott, Managing Counsel, Energy, Walmart, Inc.; Caleb Garcia, deputy city attorney of the City of Denton, Texas; and Juan Alcala of Holland & Knight in Austin, Texas.

Mr. Guerrero and his fellow panelists provided insight into the field of energy law, the expertise necessary, and ways to get involved in the practice. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the energy sector, where his focus today is assisting clients develop, construct and finance large renewable energy projects throughout the country. Mr. Guerrero has assisted clients develop more than 1,000 megawatts of renewable energy facilities across the United States in the last few years alone.

Three additional Kutak Rock attorneys also represented the firm at CCC23: Vanessa Alvarez and Randy Delgado, II, real estate partners from the Scottsdale office; and Ed Gonzales, a business, corporate and securities partner from the Omaha office.
