James focuses his practice on real estate matters. As part of his practice, James supports clients in real estate transactions related to land acquisition and development, commercial leasing, contract drafting and negotiation, navigation of land use laws and regulations, and research requests for jurisdiction-specific laws and issues. 

James attended the University of Arkansas School of Law, where he was an active member of the Business Law Society. He also served as President of the University of Arkansas Student Bar Association, which was recognized by the American Bar Association with two national awards: the Student Bar Association Award and the Dean Henry J. Ramsey, Jr. Diversity Award.
