Jessica’s practice focuses on public finance, particularly with respect to conduit financings for charter school, multifamily housing, higher education, senior living, nonprofit healthcare and economic development projects across the country. She has significant experience as underwriter’s counsel, disclosure counsel, bond counsel, borrower’s counsel, and bond purchaser's counsel on a wide range of transactions, including taxable and tax-exempt obligations, direct loan financings, publicly and privately offered financings, and traditional government financings.
- Served as underwriter's counsel, disclosure counsel, borrower’s counsel, or bond counsel for numerous charter school bond financings in Georgia, Florida, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, Nevada and Pennsylvania.
- Served as counsel to multiple national investment banks in connection with various derivative transactions, including real estate-secured swaps.
- Served as disclosure counsel to the Georgia Ports Authority and the Georgia State Road and Tollway Authority for their port and transportation bond issues.
- Served as disclosure counsel to the State of Georgia for over $1 billion of its general obligation bond issues.
