Lauren V.T. Irish

Associate

Lauren supports clients on a broad range of government, corporate, and environmental issues. Ms. Irish also supports the Firm’s antitrust practice helping to advise on substantive compliance matters and prepare filings under the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act.

Prior to joining Kutak Rock, Lauren worked for 13 years at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) as a Military Intelligence Program (MIP) budget subject matter expert.  In that role, she advised DIA offices and Combatant Command Intelligence Directorates on resource alignment within the General Defense and Military Intelligence Programs and liaised with the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence & Security and Congressional staff regarding the support to strategy and budget justification.

Lauren earned a law degree from the Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America, cum laude, with a certification in Compliance, Investigations, and Corporate Responsibility, and where she was the Executive Editor of the Catholic University Law Review. She also holds a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University, a Master of Science in Technical Communications from Northeastern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science from the University of South Carolina. She is a certified Defense Financial Manager with an Acquisition Specialty (CDFM-A) through the American Society of Military Comptrollers (ASMC).
