Kutak Rock served as bond counsel to the Boulder County Housing Authority in connection with the issuance of its Multifamily Housing Revenue Bonds (Willoughby Corner Multifamily) Series 2023 in an amount to be at most $37,791,108.  The total project cost is approximately $73,500,000.

Willoughby Corner is a planned neighborhood of permanently affordable homes located just southwest of the intersection of 120th Street and East Emma Street in Lafayette, Colorado.  The neighborhood, being developed by BCHA, proposes 400 permanently affordable homes in various building types, including duplexes, townhomes, apartments, and amenities.  In addition to new affordable workforce housing, the 24-acre neighborhood will include community gardens, a community building, a dog park, trails, and park space.

BCHA anticipates that approximately 20% of the homes will be for sale to those earning between 60-120% of the Area's Median Income.  Approximately 80% of the homes will be for rent to those earning between 30-60% of the Area's Median Income.

Fred Marienthal, John Bales and Jack McGill worked on this financing.
