Kutak Rock acted as bond counsel to the State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education in connection with the issuance by the Board of the State of Colorado, Department of Higher Education, by State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education Systemwide Revenue Bond (Community College of Aurora – STEM Building Project), Series 2023 in the aggregate principal amount of $17,120,000. The Series 2023 Bonds were issued for the purposes of: (a) the acquisition, construction and equipping of a STEM academic facility at the Community College of Aurora’s CentreTech Campus (including any capitalized interest relating thereto) and any other capital improvements to the CentreTech Campus; and (b) paying costs of issuance of the Series 2023 Bonds.

The Center for STEM, Power Mechanics, and Applied Technologies will produce and ensure students are prepared to enter directly into the workforce and/or transfer to four-year institutions, through pathways in construction, diesel power mechanics, engineering, cyber security, renewable energy, and other STEM pathways in math, science and applied technology.
