Kutak Rock Serves as Bond Counsel to UCAR
News | July 19, 2021Kutak Rock served as bond counsel in connection with the Colorado Educational and Cultural Facilities Authority’s issuance of its Revenue Refunding Bonds (University Corporation for Atmospheric Research Project) Series 2021A and its Revenue Refunding Bonds (University Corporation for Atmospheric Research Project) Series 2021B (Convertible to Tax-Exempt). This transaction created debt service savings for the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research. Kutak Rock has served as bond counsel to UCAR since 2010. UCAR is a nonprofit consortium of more than 115 North American colleges and universities focused on research and training in the Earth system sciences. UCAR manages the National Center for Atmospheric Research on behalf of the National Science Foundation. Founded in 1960 to fulfill this role, UCAR is the trusted administrator of the financial, human resources, facilities, and information technology functions that are essential to NCAR's success.
