Kutak Rock Acted as Bond & Disclosure Counsel to University of Wyoming

Kutak Rock served as Bond Counsel and Disclosure Counsel in connection with the issuance by the Trustees of the University of Wyoming of its Facilities Revenue and Refunding Revenue Bonds (State of Wyoming–University Revenue Bond Supplemental Coverage Program), Series 2021A, in the aggregate principal amount of $40,895,000 and its Facilities Revenue and Refunding Revenue Bonds (State of Wyoming–University Revenue Bond Supplemental Coverage Program), Federally Taxable Series 2021B Bonds, in the aggregate principal amount of $22,145,000. Proceeds of the bonds refinanced previously issued debt and the acquisition by the University of Wyoming of the Bison Run Village Apartments.

The bonds were sold pursuant to a competitive sale and the refinancing achieved $18.3 million of cash flow savings for the University. Bison Run Village Apartments are located in Laramie, Wyoming near the east campus recreation fields and the other university apartment complexes and consists of 332 beds in 84 one, two, and three-story units throughout 15 residential buildings.
