Kutak Rock partner Matthias Edrich has been elected to serve a three-year term on the National Association of Bond Lawyers’ (NABL) Board of Directors. The election was held at the NABL Annual Meeting on Wednesday, September 23 in conjunction with The Workshop: Virtual 2020 Conference.

A leading factor in assessing potential nominees for Board membership is selecting those members who have made positive and significant contributions of time and commitment to the work of NABL. 

Over the past few years, Mr. Edrich has been recognized by NABL for his contributions. In 2018, he was recognized with the President’s Service Award for distinguished service to NABL and in 2019, he was presented with the Carlson Prize, awarded to the author(s) of the best scholarly article submitted for publication in The Bond Lawyer: The Journal of the National Association of Bond Lawyers. He has been a panelist at multiple NABL conferences, a steering committee member of various workshops and has served as chair of NABL’s Tax Law Committee.

Mr. Edrich is a member of Kutak Rock’s national federal tax and public finance practice. His work focuses on U.S. tax aspects of financial instruments, with an emphasis on tax-exempt bonds.
