Kutak Rock served as bond counsel in connection with the issuance by The Housing Authority of the County of Adams, State of Colorado, d/b/a Maiker Housing Partners of its Housing Revenue Note (The Caraway Apartments Project), Series 2020 in the amount not to exceed $22,150,000.

The Note was issued for the purpose of financing a mortgage loan to provide for the financing of a portion of a multifamily housing apartment community to be known as The Caraway Apartments located at 7401 Broadway, Denver, Colorado 80221. Forty percent of the units in the project will be occupied or available for occupancy by persons and families earning 60% or less of the area median income, based on family size. Maiker Housing Partners will repurpose the former Children & Family Services building into 44 units and create an additional 72 units of affordable housing, with 12 units reserved for youth aging out of foster care.
