News | February 28, 2020

Kutak Rock partners Hilary Jackler and Seth Kirshenberg will highlight the firm’s experiences assisting government, university and school board clients to develop, close and manage P3 projects at the P3C Public-Private Partnership Conference & Expo, March 2-4, 2020 in Dallas, TX.

On March 2, Ms. Jackler will be part of a panel of experts, titled “Making the Grade: Leveraging P3 for Public Schools” that will address how P3s are being used for public schools in recent and ongoing transactions in the United States and Canada. Ms. Jackler will be discussing some of the challenges and opportunities of bringing international precedent to the U.S. market, using the Prince George’s County Public Schools P3 project as an example.

On March 3, Mr. Kirshenberg will highlight projects that Kutak Rock has completed and speak on a panel of experts, titled “P3 & The Road Ahead for Commercial Developers” that will discuss how the hybrid P3 tool helped integrate commercial developments into or alongside P3 projects supporting civic interests, including arenas, hospitals, fine arts centers, water treatment facilities, student housing and other public facilities.

Also on March 3, Ms. Jackler will participate on a panel, titled “P3s are Not ‘All About the Money’ – Benefits Beyond Financing” that will tap into P3 benefits-beyond-financing for all types of infrastructure assets. Panelists will provide examples as to how a P3 approach for needed facilities can offer more benefits than just financing.

The Public-Private Partnership Conference & Expo unites leaders from states and localities, higher education institutions, and public agencies, with industry to discuss infrastructure challenges faced nationwide.
