Kutak Rock served as Special Tax Counsel and Counsel to the Underwriter in connection with the issuance of $12,225,000 of The Oklahoma Development Finance Authority’s Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series 2019 (Southern Nazarene University Housing Project).  The proceeds of the bonds refunded, for savings, debt issued in 2009 which financed the construction, equipping and furnishing of an approximately 290-unit student housing facility on the campus of Southern Nazarene University known as A.M. Hills Residential Complex.  Southern Nazarene University was founded in 1899 and is located in Bethany, Oklahoma, a community situated in northwest Oklahoma City, and is Oklahoma City’s oldest independent four-year liberal arts university.
