Kutak Rock Legal Counsel Project Wins National Counsel for Public-Private Partnerships Award

News | February 25, 2019
Propeller Airports, for which Kutak Rock served as legal counsel, has been recognized by the National Counsel for Public-Private Partnerships for its inventive design and construction of the new Paine Field Passenger Terminal north of Seattle, WA. The terminal, designed, financed and built in partnership with Snohomish County, will have 24 daily flights to nine destinations on Alaska and United Airlines.

There are 504 airports across the country that offer commercial flights. The March 4 opening of Paine Field will mark the first time in decades that a new terminal has opened to commercial flights in the U.S.

Kutak Rock attorneys Michael Thomas, Micah Halverson, Jex Lawrence and Bruce Wilson represented Propeller Airports Paine Field in the project. Propeller will accept the award at the Council’s annual conference in May.
