Marcus focuses his practice on commercial litigation with an emphasis on ERISA, securities, real estate and intellectual property litigation. His broad experience enables him to handle many types of cases, whether those matters are before state, federal or appellate courts.

Marcus’ ERISA practice focuses on ERISA compliance and litigating ERISA fiduciary and benefits matters. He represents Taft-Hartley plans, drafts contracts, plan documents and other legal instruments. Marcus has also worked on several collection matters for Funds in Federal Court. 

In addition to his ERISA practice, Marcus provides counsel to clients in Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) arbitrations and advises clients in the securities industry on compliance with various FINRA and other regulatory rules and guidelines. 

Marcus has argued dispositive and non-dispositive motions in numerous courts and has extensive experience with discovery practice, taking and defending depositions, drafting motions and briefs, and preparing cases for trial. 

Marcus is known as a dedicated champion for his clients, and he is clear and direct when approaching a lawsuit. He understands the intricacies of the ever-challenging litigation world and works to support his clients throughout the process.
