Leslie's clients include health systems, hospitals and physician groups. Her experience includes counseling clients on a variety of matters:
- Service Line Contracts such as anesthesia, radiology, and pathology
- Physician and Advanced Practitioner employment, call coverage, and recruitment agreements, including development and implementation of templates across large health systems
- Master Services Agreements and other vendor contracts
- Management Agreements including structuring and implementing management arrangements with rural hospitals
- Transactions including acquisition and sale of hospitals, physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, and other health care facilities
- Medical staff bylaws and issues, including peer review and NPDB reporting
- Law enforcement-related issues including legal blood draws, subpoenas, and emergency department interactions
- Advising governing boards on compliance with governing documents
- General risk management advice
- Facility and practitioner licensing and scope of practice requirements
Previously, Leslie served for six years as a Deputy District Attorney, prosecuting crimes on behalf of victims and the community and involving more than 50 jury trials. An advocate for children and community safety, she has volunteered her time instructing law enforcement officers and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE) nurses, devoted time in Ghana, Africa working on a human rights project, and participated in groups such as the Drug Endangered Children Subcommittee of the Methamphetamine Task Force, Inter-Agency Case Review Team, and the Sentencing Alternatives Guide Subcommittee of the Evidence-Based Decision Making project. In addition, she served on the Board of Directors for Healthy Schools Oklahoma and the Redbud Classic.
