B. Hans Ipson


Hans is a member of the firm’s Corporate Department and Real Estate practice group. He has experience representing a wide range of clients in complex commercial real estate transactions throughout the country, including the acquisition, development and disposition of commercial properties, leasing and financing transactions, and matters involving zoning and land use.

As part of his real estate practice, Hans represents national syndicators and upper-tier investors in matters involving the low-income housing tax credit program and historical rehabilitation tax credit program. He also has experience in the negotiation and preparation of complex real estate and financing documents, including as relates to health care facilities, portfolio transactions, wind energy projects and military housing and lodging privatization.

  • Representing a publicly traded retail company in acquisition, development and operation of its real estate assets located in the Midwest.
  • Representing commercial real estate developers in acquisition and development of retail facilities for a national retailer throughout the State of Nebraska.
  • Representing national lenders in local and national secured-lending transactions.
  • Representing a major public utility provider in connection with potential acquisition of certain wind energy projects located in the Midwest.
  • Member of firm team that represented Fortune 100 company in connection with its sale of a fueling station portfolio including hundreds of sites in numerous states from 2008 to 2010.
