Kutak Rock congratulates Scottsdale attorney Isaiah Wilson II on his appointment to chair of the Board of Directors for Southwest Human Development, Arizona’s largest nonprofit organization dedicated to early childhood development.

Southwest Human Development strengthens the foundation Arizona’s children need by providing programs and services that support children in the early stages of life when development is most critical. The organization serves approximately 140,000 children, families and professionals each year through more than 40 programs focused on child development and mental health, disabilities services, early literacy, Head Start and Early Head Start, family support and child welfare, and professional development and training.

Isaiah has served on the Southwest Human Development Board of Directors since 2021. As chair, he will help guide the organization’s governance and support its mission of creating a positive future for every child.

Isaiah is a member of Kutak Rock’s corporate/real estate department, Corporate Securities Group and Institutional Investments Group. He advises emerging and middle market companies on securities compliance, equity and asset purchase and sales, venture capital funding and corporate governance. In addition, he advises industrial investor clients concerning their alternative investments. Further, he provides general corporate counsel regarding equipment purchases, sponsorship agreements, consulting agreements and other general commercial transactions.
