On Wednesday, September 10, Kutak Rock partner Seth Kirshenberg will lead a panel discussion in the Energy Communities Alliance’s webinar titled “Investing in Innovation - Financing Advanced Nuclear Projects” at 2:00 p.m. (ET).

The session will feature individuals from the government and private sector who are at the forefront of creating financing solutions for nuclear projects. The webinar will provide insight into the new business models emerging in advanced nuclear projects financing including:

• How projects’ “capital stacks” are being structured
• What mix of private financing is being used
• The role of companies like Google, Meta and Amazon play in attracting financing

The panel will make recommendations on how these projects can move forward to facilitate exciting business opportunities.

Seth is the lead attorney for billions of dollars of P3, energy and real estate structured finance and development projects.  He advises governments, developers, financiers, investors and rating agencies in structuring, developing, operating and leasing private and governmental projects.  He has written several reports for the Department of Energy on financing nuclear projects and worked on nuclear energy project power purchase agreements, tax credit projects and federal contracting.  He also serves as the Executive Director of the Energy Communities Alliance, the organization of local governments adjacent to nuclear energy facilities, DOE facilities and national laboratories.
