Kutak Rock Welcomes Susan Stabe as a Transition Partner in Irvine Office

Kutak Rock is pleased to announce that Susan Stabe has joined the firm as a transition partner in the firm’s Irvine office, where she will be a key member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group.

Susan brings nearly three decades of experience in intellectual property to the firm. Her practice has long focused on brand protection and enforcement, including domestic and international trademark and copyright registration, intellectual property licensing, adverse proceedings, domain name litigation and dispute resolution. She also regularly advises clients in matters related to advertising and unfair competition.

Before joining Kutak Rock, Susan was a partner at a large national law firm in Irvine, where she represented clients ranging from startups to publicly traded companies across diverse industries including apparel, aviation, e-commerce, medical device, real estate, sporting goods, technology, food and beverage, beauty and financial services.

Susan has been recognized multiple times for her excellence in practice. She was named a Southern California “Rising Star” in Intellectual Property by Super Lawyers® in 2007 and 2009 and is listed in World Trademark Review’s WTR 1000 for 2017–2018 and 2023–2025. Her community involvement has included board service with Providence Mission Hospital Foundation and American Federation Pueri Cantores, and she has provided pro bono support to the Alliance for Children’s Rights since 2014.

Susan earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.  She is admitted to practice in California.
