Kutak Rock congratulates attorney Jason Kotlyarov on being selected to join the Apex Class of 2027 in the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce’s Centurions Leadership Program. A premier two-year leadership development initiative, Centurions has been cultivating future civic and business leaders in the Kansas City area since 1976. The program is designed to immerse participants in the critical issues facing the region through hands-on learning, monthly task forces, retreats, benchmarking trips, and access to high-level community and business leaders.

Jason’s selection reflects his deep commitment to service, leadership, and community impact. As a member of the Apex cohort, he will engage with other emerging leaders to explore and address the challenges and opportunities that shape the Kansas City region. The experience will offer him a unique opportunity to expand his leadership skills, grow his professional network, and contribute meaningfully to the community.

Jason focuses his practice on providing full-service representation to employee benefit plans, plan sponsors and fiduciaries, which includes issues pertaining to governance, compliance, amendment/policy review and drafting and litigation. He is one of the few attorneys in the nation who specializes in representing registered apprenticeship plans, including standards and policy review, program compliance with applicable Department of Labor and state apprenticeship laws, advising on complex prohibited transactions issues unique to apprenticeship plans, scholarship loans, employment law issues and more.
