Nathan Smith and Austin Graves to be Featured Speakers at WSBA Midyear Meeting

Kutak Rock partner Nathan Smith and associate Austin Graves will be featured participants in the upcoming Washington State Bar Association Real Property, Probate and Trust Committee's Midyear Meeting. The WSBA-sponsored program will be held June 7-9, 2024 and will offer in-person CLE credit at the Davenport Hotel in Spokane, Washington.

The entire three-day program caters to both new attorneys and veteran practitioners of probate and trust as well as real property. Participants will be up to date with practice essentials, foundational knowledge, updates and practical tools. Nathan will chair the event, while Austin will hold a one-hour session discussing the Corporate Transparency Act's impact on all aforementioned areas of practice.

Nathan primarily practices in the areas of real estate, land use, water and environmental law. His real estate practice includes sales and acquisitions, leasing, management and operations through either drafting, negotiating or reviewing purchase and sale agreements, leases and development agreements on behalf of clients in all industries. Nathan also has experience in all facets of condominium and homeowners' association law.

Austin primarily practices in the areas of real estate, corporate, and lending law. His real estate practice includes sales and acquisitions, leasing, management and operations through either drafting, negotiating or reviewing purchase and sale agreements, and leases on behalf of clients in all industries. In his corporate practice, Austin advises clients throughout the corporate life-cycle from entity formation and general corporate governance to capital raising events. Austin’s lending practice focuses primarily on commercial real estate lending representing institutional lenders in financing transactions, including construction and bridge loans for affordable housing developments and construction and term loans for commercial real estate projects.
