Kutak Rock partner Howard Hahn was recently recognized as a 50-year member of the Nebraska State Bar Association during its virtual Annual Meeting, October 12-16. Each year the State Bar acknowledges those who have reached this milestone. 

The NSBA prepared a commemorative slideshow of their 50-year members and created an additional acknowledgement in the September/October issue of The Nebraska Lawyer magazine. 

In a letter to Mr. Hahn, NSBA President Steven Mattoon wrote, “On behalf of the Nebraska State Bar Association and the Nebraska Lawyers Foundation, we would like to thank you for your service to the legal profession and for helping to build Nebraska’s legacy of esteemed and accomplished lawyers.” 

Mr. Hahn has served the community and legal profession since he was admitted to the Nebraska Bar on September 1, 1970. He focuses his practice in the areas of healthcare, tax-exempt organizations and taxation. He has served as chairman of the Young Lawyers Section of the NSBA, president of the Legal Aid Society, member and chairman of the Omaha Planning Board, member and chairman of the Omaha Airport Authority, president of the Merrymakers Association and has been involved in numerous other civic endeavors. He is a fellow of both the Nebraska State Bar Foundation and the American Bar Foundation. He is listed in Super Lawyers^®, Chambers USA and The Best Lawyers in America^©.
