“Valuation: What It’s Worth and Why You Care” CLE Offered October 13

Kutak Rock and Stout are partnering to offer a valuation webinar for legal, accounting, and finance professionals October 13 from noon to 1:30 p.m. CDT. CLE and CPE are offered.

The session will start with an overview of the concept of “value” as a relative term that is dependent upon the circumstance, followed by a hands-on walk through the traditional approaches and methodologies used in the valuation of a business, and closing with a panel discussion with business attorneys about how valuations can be utilized to fulfill a wide range of obligations.

Learning Objectives include:

  • Understand the Standard and Premise of Value
  • Compare and contrast three different Valuation Methods including: the Income Approach, Market Approach, and Cost/Asset Approach
  • Describe different Levels of Value: Controlling vs. Non-Controlling, Marketable vs. Non-Marketable, Discounts and Premiums
  • Analyze how valuations can be utilized to fulfill a wide range of legal and business obligations
