David Bracht, former Nebraska Director of Energy and Kutak Rock of counsel, will speak at the Nebraska State Bar Association Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Section’s 2019 Real Estate Institute on September 13 at 12:45 p.m. in La Vista, Nebraska.   

Mr. Bracht’s presentation, “What Real Estate Lawyers Need to Know About Hemp,” will provide an overview on the history of marijuana and industrial hemp in the United States, specific requirements for hemp growers and processors to operate, the SAFE Banking Act of 2019, the 2018 Farm Bill and the Nebraska Hemp Farming Act, which became effective at the end of May.
