Mark conducts a broad civil litigation practice with an emphasis on complex commercial litigation, financial services litigation and real estate litigation.

Mark has substantial experience in all aspects of complex commercial civil litigation including successfully representing clients in mediation, arbitration, evidentiary hearings, trial, and in state and federal appellate courts. While Mark predominately represents clients in the State of Colorado, he has been admitted to specific federal courts or pro hac vice in commercial litigation matters in Alabama, California, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, New Mexico, Montana, Texas, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. With his over 25 years of litigation experience and emphasis on achieving his clients' specific business goals, Mark also serves as outside general counsel to several Colorado corporations. He has also conducted continuing legal education courses regarding landlord-tenant law, civil real estate litigation matters, and ethics.  

Because of his long-standing heritage in Colorado, Mark also believes in giving back to his community and devotes a portion of his practice to pro bono services for under-privileged individuals and non-profit corporations. He currently serves as Board Chair to Manna Resource Center, a faith-based Colorado non-profit corporation that assists individuals and families break down barriers of homelessness and poverty.

  • Serves as outside general counsel to a faith-based senior living corporation that owns, operates and manages multiple senior living communities in Colorado.
  • Prosecuted contractual and other multimillion-dollar debt obligations for numerous corporate lenders in state and federal courts including obtaining receiverships over commercial office buildings and multistate franchised restaurant, hotel and convenience store operations.
  • Represented numerous commercial and residential landlords and tenants with respect to evictions, lease violations, tenant improvements and other lease-related disputes.
  • Represented national banks and servicers in federal court actions alleging violations of the federal Truth in Lending Act, Home Ownership and Equity Protection Act of 1994, the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
  • Represented minority and majority partners, members and shareholders in disputes regarding suppression, dissolution, wind down, and post-merger and acquisition liability and obligations.
  • Successfully represented corporate and manufacturing clients in trials and arbitrations regarding contractual disputes, fraudulent investment schemes, and claims under the Uniform Commercial Code.
