Marie has spent her entire career as a finance and tax credit attorney and has focused on representing investors, community development entities and lenders in connection with New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC) transactions. She also has an extensive background in commercial real estate, community development and affordable housing transactions generating Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and Historic Tax Credits (HTC).
Marie has a wide range of experience with numerous public subsidies and governmental initiatives, including HUD programs, the HOME Program, Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) and tax-exempt bond financings. She has also represented nonprofit developers of multifamily housing.
