Sydney’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation with an emphasis in construction and insurance defense. Sydney regularly advocates for business clients on contract and tort issues, including those involving premises liability, personal injury, and negligence.
Sydney graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arkansas School of Law, where she obtained the Business Law Certificate, and was awarded the Jeff M. Starling Award for Labor & Employment. Sydney served on the Arkansas Law Review for two years and was a Note & Comment Editor during her last year of law school. Her Comment, “Sentenced to Prison, Not to Death: Home Confinement During the Pandemic and Moving Beyond COVID-19,” was published in the 75th Edition of the Arkansas Law Review.
Prior to her legal career, Sydney worked as an internal auditor for a global retailer where she gained valuable experience evaluating operational risk and controls and partnering with business leaders to implement solutions that helped drive the business forward.
