Blake advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, real estate, tax credit and other taxation matters. He regularly represents clients in equity and asset acquisitions and dispositions; commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing; state and local development credits and incentives; and tax credit transactions and financings, including tax credit transfers under Code Section 6418.
Blake’s tax credit experience focuses on working with investors, syndicators, lenders, and developers to achieve and leverage the tax credit benefits generated by renewable energy and historic rehabilitation projects throughout the country. He regularly assists with structuring and drafting tax equity and loan documents, as well as with conducting title and survey review and real estate due diligence.
