Blake advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, real estate, and taxation matters. He regularly represents clients in equity and asset acquisitions and dispositions; commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing; state and local development credits and incentives; and tax credit financing. Blake has also represented clients in tax controversy matters before the Internal Revenue Service and the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration.
Before returning to private practice, Blake served as Corporate Counsel and Director of Real Estate with Onterris, Inc. (NYSE: ONT), where he managed and provided counsel on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, post-closing integrations, and commercial real estate. This in-house experience gives Blake a practical understanding of the business priorities and operational considerations that drive client decision-making.
