A Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) credentialed through the International Association of Privacy Professionals, she advises clients on complex data privacy and cybersecurity matters, offering practical, business minded guidance in an evolving regulatory landscape. Her practice encompasses data breach response, cybersecurity, and compliance with domestic and international privacy laws, with particular depth in U.S. federal and state privacy statutes such as the GLBA, HIPAA and CCPA, as well as the EU’s GDPR.
Privacy Compliance
Turquoise advises clients on privacy and data protection implications associated with emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, helping organizations deploy these tools responsibly while mitigating legal risk. She also develops and implements comprehensive privacy policies tailored to clients’ specific business operations and regulatory requirements.
Adtech + Marketing Technologies
Turquoise regularly counsels clients on privacy considerations that arise in technology transactions, marketing initiatives and social media programs. She advises on data usage and digital privacy matters in online advertising negotiations, including compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) principles, Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) guidelines, and Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations governing marketing communications.
Technology Transactions
Turquoise’s transactional work includes drafting and negotiating data privacy agreements, data processing amendments, software-as-a-service agreements, intellectual property licensing agreements, and software and hardware license agreements.
Healthcare Technology
Turquoise assists clients in negotiating and structuring technology and data contracts to maximize the value of their data and intellectual property assets. She helps clients secure licenses and data use rights in connection with healthcare technology initiatives.
