Lisa represents a broad range of commercial clients in their commercial real estate and financing transactions, working closely with national and regional lending institutions, borrowers, real estate investment trusts, developers and property owners to advise on and resolve issues arising from the financing, acquisition, disposition and leasing of office buildings, multifamily and mixed-use developments, shopping centers, industrial buildings, and vacant land.

Lisa routinely drafts and reviews loan documentation, purchase and sale agreements, leases, and related documentation, examines title and survey and related due diligence matters, and facilitates the closing of real estate and lending transactions. 

  • Represents national and regional lenders in a variety of multimillion-dollar commercial loan transactions, including loan originations and refinances involving permanent and construction loan financing secured by commercial real estate.
  • Assists a team of attorneys in the representation of a publicly-traded, triple net lease REIT in the acquisition, disposition, and servicing of its commercial real estate projects located throughout the United States.
  • Served on a team of attorneys representing equity investors in the financing of affordable housing projects utilizing low-income housing tax credits
  • Represented national and regional lenders in commercial loan workouts through loan modifications, forbearances and foreclosures.
  • Served on a team of attorneys in the representation of publicly traded specialty REIT in the acquisition and development of its unique, multimillion-dollar commercial real estate projects, including megaplex movie theaters and early childhood education facilities, located throughout the United States.
  • Represented publicly traded REIT in the acquisition of a 270,200 square foot, multi-tenant, industrial distribution center located in Greenville, SC.
  • Assisted in the representation of publicly traded REIT in the in the acquisition of a shopping center located in Narragansett, RI.
  • Represented developer in the acquisition of vacant land for use as a parking lot.
  • Represented developer in the acquisition of platted residential lots.
