Leland P. Abide


Leland is a member of the firm’s Litigation practice group. He has significant experience working in complex civil litigation, including work in trade secrets, agribusiness, product liability, and other commercial litigation matters.

Leland graduated magna cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law, where he was a staff member on the Law Review and participated in the Rosalie E. Wahl Moot Court Competition. During law school, he had the privilege of clerking at the Federal District Court for the District of Minnesota and at the Minnesota Court of Appeals.

Before going to law school, Leland worked as a public school teacher in rural Arkansas as a member of Teach For America. As a lawyer, he uses his teaching skills to help clarify complex legal issues for clients and courts.
