Nick Arnold, Stuart Hindmarsh Co-Author Article in The Arkansas Banker

Kutak Rock attorneys Nick Arnold and Stuart Hindmarsh recently co-authored an article entitled “Newly Signed Law Eases Dodd-Frank Mortgage Restrictions on Community Banks” for the June 2018 issue of The Arkansas Banker, the official publication of the Arkansas Bankers Association.

On May 24, 2018 President Trump signed the “Crapo Bill,” which modifies certain requirements of 2010’s Dodd-Frank Act. The Crapo Bill was designed to ease some of the burdens imposed by Dodd-Frank on community banks and improve consumers’ access to credit. In this article, Mr. Arnold and Mr. Hindmarsh provide a summary of certain provisions of Title I of the Crapo Bill relating to mortgage loans.
