Kutak Rock attorney John Bales has co-authored an article concerning the use of social media by charter schools. The article, "Strategies for Using Social Media to Increase Enrollment," appears in the Winter 2016 issue of Charter Focus, the Colorado League of Charter Schools' quarterly journal for business managers.

In the article, Bales explains how a strong social media presence can help a school connect to a community, leading to better name recognition and a potentially higher enrollment.
