Marcia Washkuhn Selected to Chair Federal Practice Committee for the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska
News | March 23, 2026Kutak Rock partner Marcia Washkuhn has been selected to serve as Chair of the Federal Practice Committee for the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska. Her appointment was made by Chief Judge Robert F. Rossiter Jr.
The Federal Practice Committee serves as a liaison between the court and members of the federal bar, providing feedback and recommendations on issues affecting federal practice and procedure in the District of Nebraska. The committee also helps support continuing legal education and initiatives designed to improve the administration of justice in federal court.
Marcia’s selection as Chair reflects her longstanding involvement with the federal court and her commitment to supporting the effective practice of law in the District of Nebraska.
