Kutak Rock Welcomes Ashton Bligh to its Atlanta Office
News | February 5, 2026Ashton Bligh has joined the firm as a transition partner in the Public Finance group in the Atlanta office. Ashton focuses her practice on public finance matters and brings significant experience advising on both taxable and tax-exempt financings, including serving as disclosure counsel, bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, trustee’s counsel, purchaser’s counsel, lender’s counsel, and borrower’s counsel in connection with publicly and privately offered transactions.
Ashton has worked on financings across a broad range of sectors including special districts, such as community development districts, stewardship districts and tax allocation districts; multifamily/affordable housing; solid waste management; water, sewer and electric utilities; and waste to energy project finance transactions. She also has experience representing municipal securities creditors and indenture trustees in new and existing distressed transactions and consensual restructurings.
Ashton earned her J.D. from the Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law and her B.S.B.A. from Florida State University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She is licensed to practice in Georgia and Florida.
