Kutak Rock is pleased to announce that partner Deborah Froling has been appointed to the Advisory Committee to the North American Securities Administrators Associations (NASAA) Direct Participation Programs (DPP) Policy Project Group for 2026.

The Advisory Committee was established to provide the DPP Policy Project Group with advice, assistance and recommendations on issues and emerging trends affecting direct participation programs. Committee members serve in an advisory capacity and bring diverse perspectives from across the securities industry.

Deborah joins a distinguished group of professionals selected for the Committee, including representatives from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), leading law firms, financial services organizations, academia, and industry associations. The Committee’s work supports NASAA’s efforts to evaluate and develop policies and guidance related to direct participation programs and other alternative investments products.

The Advisory Committee’s charter emphasizes the importance of bringing together a diverse group of professionals with expertise in direct participation program issues and the securities industry. Members serve one-year terms and provide recommendations to the DPP Policy Project Group on matters affecting the evolving DPP landscape.

Deborah has closed public and private debt and equity offerings, primarily for REITs and other real estate companies, as well as non-traded equipment finance and oil and gas companies, and business development companies. She has also structured and closed numerous tenant in common syndications and has worked with public and private company clients providing general corporate counseling and advising on periodic and annual reporting and other SEC disclosure requirements.
