Kutak Rock is pleased to announce that Amanda Cooper has joined the firm’s Atlanta office as of counsel in its business, corporate and securities practice.

Amanda brings significant experience advising clients on complex tax, tax credit and transactional matters. Most recently, she served as a tax attorney at Amazon, where she negotiated and advised on a broad range of commercial agreements and strategic business transactions. Her career also includes experience with international law firms, providing her with a broad perspective on tax credit incentives and corporate, tax and real estate matters, including renewable energy tax credits, new markets tax credits and historic tax credits.

Amanda earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, a J.D. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco, a Master of Business Administration from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College, and a Bachelor of Science in International Economics from the University of Florida.
