News | November 20, 2025

Kutak Rock is pleased to announce that Maggie Ebert, a litigation partner in the firm’s Omaha office, has been named to “The 2025 Irish Legal 100” list. The Irish Legal 100, founded in 2008, is an annual compilation of the most distinguished legal professionals in the United States who share a common bond: pride in their Irish heritage.

Maggie is a litigation partner in the Omaha office of Kutak Rock who focuses on intellectual property, antitrust and complex commercial litigation. Her litigation practice is national in scope and she has litigated cases in various state and federal courts across the country. She has brought and defended numerous claims for trademark infringement, patent infringement, use of likeness, and misappropriation of trade secrets. Her antitrust practice centers around nationwide class-action, multi-defendant and multi-district antitrust cases.

In addition to her litigation practice, Maggie has a 100% success rate for obtaining P-1B visas for internationally recognized entertainment groups coming to the United States to perform at top-rated venues and music and art festivals across the country. Her immigration clients have included some of Europe’s finest, award-winning musicians and bands such as Alice Armstrong (England), Aynsley Lister (England), Ben Poole (England), Catfish (England), When Rivers Meet (England), Wille and the Bandits (England), Dom Martin (Northern Ireland), King King (Scotland), The Cardinal Black (Wales), Gunwood (France), Thorbjorn Risager and the Black Tornado (Denmark), Twelve Bar Blues Band (Netherlands), and the world-renown street theatre company Close-Act Theatre (Netherlands).

Maggie traces her Irish heritage on her mother’s side to fourth great grandfather Patrick Joseph Cavanagh, who was born in County Galway in 1829 and died in Douglas, Nebraska. Her fifth great great grandfather, William Carroll (1756-1824), originally from Cork, fought in the American Revolution.
