Kutak Rock Welcomes Megan McCullough as Of Counsel in Springfield Office
News | August 5, 2025Kutak Rock is pleased to announce that Megan McCullough has joined the firm as of counsel in the Springfield office. A seasoned litigator and public servant with more than 15 years of experience, Megan will focus her practice on insurance litigation as part of the firm’s Insurance Litigation group.
Megan most recently served as City Attorney and Prosecutor for the City of Republic, Missouri, where she provided legal counsel to the mayor and city council, drafted ordinances and contracts, and oversaw major infrastructure and development projects in one of the State’s fastest-growing communities. Prior to that, she served as a senior attorney at a Springfield firm.
Throughout her career, Megan has represented clients in both state and federal courts across Missouri, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. She also has served for over a decade as a Criminal Justice Act (CJA) panel attorney in the Western District of Missouri, representing indigent defendants in federal criminal matters.

A Virginia native, Megan earned her J.D. from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law at Duquesne University, where she was an editor at the Duquesne Law Review and an active member of the trial advocacy program. She received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech where she graduated magna cum laude.
