Kutak Rock tax partner Matthias Edrich will speak at The Institute 2024, the National Association of Bond Lawyers’ (NABL) annual event on April 4, 2024. This event will provide updates on perennial topics of concern to bond lawyers and discussion on emerging trends and topics.
Matthias will speak, with others, in a breakout tax forum discussion titled “Elective Pay Tax Credits” which will review elective pay tax credit provisions under Section 6417 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, including an overview of elective pay, the role bond lawyers can play in these projects, and how issuers can plan projects when guidance is still incomplete. Particular focus will be on the newly released final Treasury Regulations relating to Section 6417 which were filed for release on March 5, 2024.
