Kutak Rock litigation partner Maggie Ebert has been named to "Top Women Leaders in Law for 2024" by Women We Admire. The list highlights women who have made great strides in representation in the American justice system and legal profession. 

Maggie's inclusion marks the second consecutive year she has been recognized by Women We Admire, a professional women's network that provides news and information on today's women leaders in business, entertainment, sports, motherhood, medicine, and law, among many other fields. It is their expressed goal to improve representation of women in law, citing that less than 30% of law firm partners are women, and at larger firms, that number drops by nearly half to 16%.

The 2024 list highlights Maggie's impressive array of skills and accomplishments, including with her national focus on her litigation practice, her successes in bringing and defending multiple claims of trademark and copyright infringement, and victories in cases involving the misappropriation of trade secrets. Also mentioned is her expertise in liability for commercial speech, defamation, libel, false advertising and first amendment cases. Her efforts in advising clients on claims for tortious interference with a business expectancy, breach of contract, civil fraud, unfair competition, deceptive trade practices and other business torts, were also recognized, along with her experience in record management, e-discovery, and major documentation review. Outside of her litigation expertise, Maggie also gained acclaim for her perfect record in securing P-1B visas for internationally recognized entertainment groups performing in the United States, and providing pro-bono support to low-income families in the green card application process.
