Kutak Rock Partner Robin Perkins Named to EDRM Global Advisory Council

Kutak Rock litigation partner Robin Perkins has been appointed to serve on the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) global advisory council for 2023-2024. The council comprises a diverse group of legal professionals who help guide the organization’s ongoing projects and planning. Robin began serving on this council in 2020. Robin is the founder and chair of the eDiscovery Practice Group at Kutak Rock and a member of the firm’s commercial litigation practice. In addition to her work at Kutak Rock, she is an adjunct professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas School of Law and teaches a course on eDiscovery.

The Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) creates global practical resources to strengthen e-discovery, privacy, security, and information governance. Since 2005, EDRM has delivered leadership, standards, tools, guides, and test datasets to improve best practices worldwide. EDRM has an international presence in 145 countries and growing and an innovative support infrastructure for individuals, law firms, corporations and government organizations seeking to improve the practice and provision of data and legal discovery.

Robin was also selected to serve as a dialogue leader at the Sedona Conference Working Group 1 Mid-Year meeting being held on Thursday and Friday, April 27-28 at the Benson Hotel in Portland, Oregon.  Robin will lead a panel on the challenges of mobile device discovery.  Additionally, she will serve on a Sedona brainstorming committee to address an updated Sedona publication related to mobile device collection.
