Kutak Rock Welcomes Paul Link to its Springfield Office

Kutak Rock is pleased to announce that Paul Link, an established attorney with over 25 years of experience, has joined its insurance litigation practice group in the firm’s Springfield, MO office.  

Paul focuses his practice on automobile, insurance coverage and defense, as well as municipal government. He is a successful trial attorney in both state and federal courts and has had numerous favorable defense outcomes in personal injury, uninsured motorist, and bad faith litigation.

In addition to handling various types of insurance matters, Paul has vast experience in municipal law.  Paul was the full time City Attorney for the City of Branson at a time of extreme growth with the opening of the Branson Landing and the developments on Branson Hills Parkway. He continues to represent various municipalities in the area.  Within that representation he advises all elected and appointed officials on all matters involving city business, including preparation of ordinances, resolutions, contracts, Neighborhood Improvement Districts, Community Improvement Districts, Transportation Development Districts, Tax Increment Financing, and prosecution of ordinance violations in municipal court.

Paul is very active in his Springfield, MO community. He is a graduate of Leadership Springfield through the Springfield Chamber of Commerce and is active in many legal associations including the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association, Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers, Defense Research Institute, and Claims & Litigation Management Alliance.

Paul received his B.S. from Missouri State University and his J.D. from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law. He is licensed to practice in Missouri and Kansas as well as the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri and 8th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.
