Isaiah Wilson, of counsel in Kutak Rock’s Scottsdale office, will participate in a CLE presentation, “Nuts and Bolts of Copyright Law,” for the State Bar of Arizona on Friday, February 3 at 9:00 a.m. MST in Phoenix.

The event is an introduction to U.S. copyright law and will be chaired by Aaron K. Haar from Jaburg & Wilk, P.C. Other panelists joining Mr. Wilson include Wendy Kearns from Davis Wright Tremaine LLP and Ira M. Schwartz from Parker Schartz PLLC. Speakers will provide a primer for anyone new to copyright law or who simply requires a refresher on the topic. Areas covered include basics of copyright law, protecting copyrights, copyright prosecution, enforcement, remedies, as well as licensing and commercializing copyrights.

The seminar is co-sponsored by the State Bar of Arizona Intellectual Property Section. Participants may attend in-person or via webcast and can earn 3 CLE credit hours.
