Kutak Rock attorney Ryan Dugan will present during The Florida Bar’s City County and Local Government Law Section Public Finance Seminar on April 27 in Palm Coast, Florida. His presentation, “Bond Validations:  Like Watching Paint Dry (hopefully!),” will cover bond validations in Florida.

In addition to Ryan’s presentation, the Public Finance Seminar includes a thorough review of the three major legal opinions that bond investors require (Issuer’s Counsel Opinion, Bond Counsel Opinion and Disclosure Counsel Opinion). Additionally, the Seminar includes discussions specific to hurricane recovery bonds and contractual sovereign immunity concerns, TIF-backed and COPs structured debt, and post issuance issuer responsibilities.
